34 Vietnamese enterprises receive Amcharm CSR awards
(VOVWORLD) - 34 Vietnamese enterprises were given 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Hanoi on Wednesday.

US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel Kritenbrink and Natural Resources and Environment Deputy Minister Tran Quy Kien attended the event.
The awardees include AIA, Coca-Cola, Citibank, Hilton Hanoi Opera & Hilton Garden Inn, Ho Tram Project Company, Vina Capital & Visa, BIDV – Metlife, Deloitte, Johnson & Johnson, and HP Technology.
Awardees received the award for understanding the linkages between business operations and society, and conducting business in a way that creates long-term economic and social value. To qualify, a company’s CSR program must receive high marks in four separate categories: attention to business objectives and societal needs; creation of long-term economic and social gains; communication and sharing of best practices; and program sustainability.
