The festival aims to highlight, preserve and promote the cultural identity of Mong people in a unified and diverse Vietnamese culture of 54 ethnic groups.
“The festival is an opportunity for the participating provinces to express their love for the homeland through songs and dance performances. It also aims to raise people’s awareness of preserving and promoting ethnic minority cultures and foster national unity,” said Do Van Chien, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Visitors will have the opportunity to watch sports competitions, experience Mong people’s daily life, and enjoy their cuisine, art performances, and shows of Mong ethnic costumes.
