The 2nd Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States.

The summit will focus on joint efforts to reduce poverty and consolidate ties with other blocs and strategic countries, such as China and the European Union, to achieve development goals.

Established in 2011 under the initiative of former Venezuelan President Hugo Chaves, the community aimed to promote initiatives of political, socio-economic and cultural integration between Latin American countries and discuss joint action for sustainable development in the region.
