(VOV) – A ceremony to review activities marking the 40^th anniversary of the Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air victory opened in Hanoi this week.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said the activities were a national political drive that inspired the whole society. Nhan asked Hanoi’s municipal authorities to create an investment plan to renovate historical relics related to the Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air victory for the purpose of tourism and educating the younger generation. He added that it is necessary to collect documents and objects related this this victory for research and education purposes.
