42,000 new COVID-19 cases reported in Vietnam in 24 hours
(VOVWORLD) -From 4 p.m. on Thursday to 4 p.m. on Friday, Vietnam recorded 42,439 new cases of COVID-19, the highest number of daily cases in more than two years, according to Ministry of Health.

On Friday, 6,215 patients were announced recover from COVID-19; there were 80 deaths.
As of Friday, more than 190.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered nationwide. 57 out of 63 provinces and cities reached the two dose vaccination rate of 90%.
