50 Soldiers killed in Syrian car bombing
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that at least 50 soldiers and regime loyalists died Monday in a suicide car bombing attack in the province of Hama, in central Syria. The organization director said this location is the largest gathering place for troops and pro-regime militia in the region. The same day Syrian troops launched an air strike targeting the northwest province of Idlib, killing 20 Syrian rebel fighters including their commander.
