5,000 join charity walk for AO/dioxin victims in HCM City
(VOVWORLD) - 5,000 people joined a charity walk to support victims of Agent Orange/dioxin at Dam Sen Cultural Park in Ho Chi Minh.

The event was one of the activities organized by the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin’s HCM City chapter to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the Agent Orange/dioxin disaster in Vietnam (August 10).
In his address, Major General Tran Ngoc Tho, Chairman of the VAVA’s HCM City chapter, said the charity walk is held annually to raise funds to care for and support AO/dioxin victims in the city.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development presented 20 saving books to 20 poor families of victims of AO/dioxin.
