57 countries to take part in 2019 IRONMAN Asia Pacific Championship
(VOVWORLD) - Around 1,600 athletes from 57 countries are expected to compete in the 2019 IRONMAN Asia Pacific Championship in Da Nang next May.

Registrations are open in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The TECHCOMBANK IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam is a triathlon race that includes 1.9km swimming from Hyatt Regency’s beach, a 90km track bike along the coastline and 21km running. It is one of the few sports where professional and amateur athletes compete alongside one another.
The 2019 Ironman 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship will feature a prize fund of 75,000 USD, and offer 50 slots for the most outstanding contestants to compete in the 2019 World Championship in France.
