(VOVworld) - 40 doctors from the Japanese Cleft Palate Foundation led by Professor Nagato Natsume have taken part in a program to provide free surgery to 60 children born with a harelip or cleft palate in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre.

The annual program, which has been conducted in Ben Tre for the past 20 years, also covers Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh province, and Ho Chi Minh City. It is expected to come to the northern port city of Hai Phong soon.
