60 countries to attend Eastern Economic Forum
(VOVWORLD) - Representatives of 60 countries will attend this year’s Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, next Monday and Tuesday.

This year’s forum, themed "The Russian Far East: Expanding the Range of Possibilities", reflects Russia’s efforts to integrate into economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. Russia has built mechanisms such as Advanced Special Economic Zones and Free Port of Vladivostok, to boost business initiatives, according to President Putin. Russia is implementing large-scale projects on society, infrastructure, education, and science, and projects supporting imports and technology modernization, Mr. Putin said.
