(VOVWORLD) - Nearly 60% of Japanese enterprises in Vietnam said they saw positive returns in 2022 and will expand their businesses this year and next year, according to a survey by Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO).

The 60% rate is the highest in Southeast Asia as Japanese businesses expect higher revenue based on the Vietnamese market’s current export expansion, growth potential, and post COVID-19 recovery, said Chief Representative of JETRO in Hanoi Nakajima Takeo.
Japan with its 4.8 billion USD registered capital was Vietnam’s third largest investor in 2022.
