(VOVworld) – 60 members of Project 500, a project which sends young intellectuals to work in rural and mountainous areas in the 2013-2020 period, are ready to start their mission after a 3-month training course at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The young intellectuals have been equipped with necessary skills in statistics, finance, and accounting, land survey, agriculture, construction, environment, culture, and law to carry out their missions working with communal authorities in disadvantaged areas of Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri province. 500 young intellectuals have been selected by local authorities nationwide to work in 500 disadvantaged and mountainous communes in Vietnam.
