6.4 million USD donated to Health Ministry for COVID-19 fight
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam Fatherland Front has given 6.4 million USD to the Health Ministry for Covid-19 prevention and control.

President of the Front’s Central Committee Tran Thanh Man said at a ceremony on Wednesday that the money from fund raising programs will be spent on purchasing medical equipment.
He said: “This donation activity is publicized and transparent. The Vietnam Fatherland Front receives money from donors and presents it to the Ministry of Health for buying medical equipment to fight Covid-19. We make sure that the donations are used for the right purposes. Essential goods will be transferred to the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Public Security, while medical equipment and cash are given to the Ministry of Health as what we have committed to donors.”
Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long thanked the Front and philanthropists for their heartfelt contributions to fighting coronavirus pandemic.
