On March 14, 1988, 64 soldiers heroically sacrificed their lives on Gac Ma Island in Vietnam’s Truong Sa (Spratly) for the cause of protecting the sacred waters of the Fatherland. The historical event of Gac Ma has proven the steadfastness, resilience, and courage of the Vietnamese Navy soldiers.
