(VOVworld) – Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Chang Il said that his country valued its friendship and cooperation with the Party, government, and people of Vietnam.
At a meeting to mark the 65th anniversary of bilateral ties in Hanoi on Tuesday, he said that bilateral cooperation had been developing steadily in many areas: “Our mutual political trust has been consolidated through high-level exchanges, deepening cooperation in economics and culture, and the signing of many cooperative agreements. In the international arena, the two countries have made a concerted effort for regional and global peace, security and justice and showed a spirit of solidarity and mutual support.”
National Assembly Vice-chairman Huynh Ngoc Son presented the Labor Order, third class, to the Vietnam-Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Friendship Association to mark the occasion.
