(VOVworld) - Turkish authorities said on Saturday that they have detained seven people and are searching for another five in relation to a car bomb attack on a bus that killed 13 soldiers and wounded 56 people.

At a press conference in Ankara, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said 48 soldiers were injured, many of whom in critical conditions. Earlier, President Tayyip Erdogan blamed the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) for the attack. The bus carrying soldiers exploded near a university in Kayseri when passing an explosive-loaded car. This attack is said to be similar to the twin bombings last week outside a stadium in Istanbul, which killed 40 people and wounded 100 others.
