(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina and the Communist Party of Argentina co-hosted a ceremony in Buenos Aires on Saturday to mark the 70^th anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Nguyen Dinh Thao said the August Revolution opened the era of independence, freedom, and socialism in Vietnam and contributed to the movement of oppressed people worldwide. He briefed participants on important milestones in Vietnam’s revolution, socioeconomic development, and renewal process.
