(VOVworld) – Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee has approved an 80 billion VND project on healthcare development in Vietnam's coastal areas until 2020.

Medical clinic of Tam Hai commune, Quang Nam province needs to be invested to serve people in the coastal area

The project aims to raise capability of local medical clinics and staff to serve people and soldiers living in coastal areas and on Cu Lao Cham island of Quang Nam province. The project will be implemented in 27 communes and hamlets. It will provide medical training for 14 staff and help upgrade local clinics. Under the project, two rescue teams will be established to help rescue activities from Cu Lao Cham island to the mainland. All fishermen in Quang Nam will be trained with first-aid skills and treatment of familiar diseases.
