(VOVworld) - Minister of Planning and Development Bui Quang Vinh joined his colleagues from Laos and Cambodia to review joint efforts to promote socio-economic infrastructure during a conference in Siem Reap on Friday.

Minister Vinh expected this to lure more state and private investment to fuel development in 13 provinces bordering Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia: “It’s important to secure financial resources to realize the investment plan we had drafted. This will decide the success of regional cooperation in the triangle between Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. Vietnam has shared its successful lessons in the organization of development partners conferences to call for more ODA funding for the region, especially in socio economic infrastructure in 13 border provinces.”
