(VOVworld) – At least 7 people were killed and 20 others were injured in a series of explosions and gun-battles near Sarinah trade center in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Thursday.

A group of unidentified men carried out 6 bomb attacks outside the main entrance of Sarinah trade center and a nearby police station.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks which are near Embassies, foreign offices, luxury hotels, and the Presidential Palace.
Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia said no Vietnamese were injured in the attacks. The Embassy has opened a hotline at 0811161025 for information relating to Vietnamese people in Indonesia.
