(VOVworld) – The 5th conference on Vietnamese studies themed “Sustainable development in the context of global developments” will begin in Hanoi next Thursday.
The conference will focus on diplomacy, cooperation and international integration; culture; human resource development; intellectual and technology transfers; economics and livelihood; and climate change.
Head of the organizing board, Deputy Director of the Hanoi national Universtiy, Nguyen Huu Duc, said: “The conference will discuss important issues regarding the temporary society in Vietnam. We expect to build a network of researchers inside and outside the country who will give advice on development in Vietnam.”
The organizing board has received 700 reports from Vietnamese and foreign scholars for the conference.
