In Hanoi, an award ceremony for the National Children's Painting Competition and Exhibition 2023 took place on Wednesday. 400 paintings were selected for display and 39 individuals and 10 groups awarded for their outstanding achievements.

In Vinh Phuc province, 141 outstanding children were commended at a Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children for their achievements in study and in academic, culture, arts, or sports competitions.

Tra Vinh province launched Action Month for Children, themed “Together to reduce harm to children”.

According to Le Thanh Binh, Deputy Chairman of the Tra Vinh provincial People’s Committee, all political and social organizations and agencies in the province participate in activities to ensure children's rights, especially the right to health care and entertainment. “Support activities, visiting and giving gifts, awarding scholarships, and medical checkups and treatment have been organized for poor children, children of ethnic minorities, children with special circumstances, and orphans. The models to protect and prevent children from injuries have been supported,” said Binh.

In Can Tho city, a program called "Dream rides connect love" presented 285 gift sets to disadvantaged children and child patients who are being treated at Can Tho Hospital of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
