(VOVworld)- Various activities will be held across Vietnam to mark the 70^th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19^th) and National Day (September 2^nd). A grand meeting will be held on September 2 featuring an incense offering ceremony and a parade. A number of seminars, art programs, and communications activities will also take place in August and September. The celebration aims to highlight the great historical importance and values of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. It also demonstrates the outstanding leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh in national construction and defense thus consolidating people’s trust to the Party.
