Activities to mark National Day underway nationwide
(VOVWORLD) - An art program marking the 78th anniversary of the August Resolution (August 19, 1945), National Day (September 2, 19455) and the Sai Gon uprising (August 25, 1945) was held in HCM City on Saturday.

The program featured songs about national history, patriotism, and staunch spirit of generations of Vietnamese people.
On the occasion, fireworks took place in Thu Duc city and district 11, HCM City.

In Hai Phong port city, a special art program was held. Do Thi Khanh Huong, Director of the Culture Center of the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports said the program features the glorious history of Vietnam and Hai Phong in particular. She said the program is like a music party for the locals and visitors, conveying a message about patriotism and pride of national tradition to the younger generation.
A street music festival was held in Hai Phong city on this occasion.
