Activities underway to celebrate 100th birthday of late PM Vo Van Kiet
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense in tribute to Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet at a memorial site dedicated to the late leader in his native town of Vung Liem in Vung Liem district in the southern province of Vinh Long on Tuesday, on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary (November 23).

PM Chinh vowed to follow the example of the late PM, uphold the revolutionary moral spirit, and do the best to serve the nation and people for the goal of wealthy people, strong nation, democracy, equality and civilization.
On Wednesday morning, the Vietnamese Party Central Committee, the NA, the President, the Government, the Vietnam fatherland Front and the Vinh Long provincial Party Committee organized a ceremony to mark the 100th birthday of late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet, November 23.

Over the past few days, Vinh Long province has coordinated with relevant agencies to launch a special stamp collection and organize a photo exhibition featuring the life and career of the late PM. A contest on late Prime Minister’s revolutionary career as well as multiple art performances were also organized to mark the occasion.
