AFC U23 Championship qualifying round: Vietnam defeats Indonesia in tight race
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s U23 team beat Indonesia 1-0 in the Asian Football Confederation U23 Championship qualifying round in Hanoi on Sunday night.

On the same night, Thailand defeated Brunei 8-0, leading group K with 6 points. It was followed by Vietnam with 6 points, but with less goals scored. Indonesia and Brunei didn’t score any goal after the second group matches. Vietnam will play Thailand on Tuesday to vie for an official ticket to the final round of the Asian Football Confederation U23 Championship.
