AFF U19 Championship: Vietnam, Thailand advance to semi-finals
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam drew Thailand 1-1 on Sunday and they both qualified for the semi-finals of the ongoing 2022 AFF U19 Youth Championship in Indonesia.

Neither side had scored a goal until Kroekphon made use of Vietnamese goalkeeper Van Binh’s mistake to put Thailand ahead with a header in the 72nd minute. However, only 4 minutes later, Vietnam earned an equalizer and 1-1 is the final score of the match.
In the other match, U19 Indonesia won 5-1 against U19 Myanmar, but they were eliminated because of the 1-1 draw between Thailand and Vietnam.
After five group matches, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia all had 11 points, but Vietnam and Thailand finished first and second in the Group A on goal difference.
