Agreement reached on access of humanitarian aid to several Syrian hot spots
(VOVworld) – Syrian authorities and rebel groups agreed on access for food and medical aid convoys to some besieged areas in northern and southern Syria.

Truckloads of food stuffs will be delivered to the pro-government towns of Kafraya and Foa in the countryside of the northwestern province of Idlib. Other truckloads will be sent to the rebel-held towns of Madaya, Serghya, Buqain, and Zabadani in the countryside surrounding the capital Damascus. The aid convoys are a collaboration between the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
