(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam earned more than 24 billion USD from agro-forestry and aquatic exports in the first 5 months of this year, up 21% from the same period last year.

Currently, Vietnam is one of the world's largest suppliers of cashew nuts, pepper, coffee, and rice.
Notably, the export of wood and wood products brought in more than 6 billion USD, an increase of 23.6%. As demand in major markets rebounds, many Vietnamese enterprises have received orders until the end this year.
The agricultural sector eyes an export turnover of 55 billion USD and a growth rate of 3.5% this year.
According to economists, Vietnam’s exports will continue to grow thanks to the strong recovery of markets worldwide.
