German airline Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines (belonging to Lufthansa Group) said they will cancel all flights to and from Tel Aviv until Monday, October 9.

Air France has canceled flights to Tel Aviv "until further notice". Low-cost airline Transavia of the French-Dutch Airline Group (Air France-KLM) announced that it will cancel all flights from Paris and Lyon (France) to Tel Aviv until October 9. Spanish national airline Iberia announced that low-cost airline Iberia Express (belonging to Iberia Group) will cancel flights to Tel Aviv.

Also on Saturday, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) called on its airlines and pilots to be cautious when flying into Israeli airspace. The Israeli government also issued a similar warning to aircraft operating at all altitudes. 

In a related development, on October 7, Germany and France increased security measures around Jewish temples, schools, and monuments in the countries. Berlin and Paris fear that the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis could spark extreme reactions among Israeli and Palestinian supporters.
