(VOVworld) – The Algerian news agency APS and El Moudjahid daily reported on Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s visit to Algeria from May 31 to June 2. They described the visit as an opportunity for the two countries’ leaders to consolidate bilateral ties toward expanding multifaceted cooperation, particularly in economics. The El Moudjahid daily said that Vietnam and Algeria have worked out a number of cooperative projects and shared experience in a number of areas including agriculture, construction, industry, energy, and aquaculture. The two countries considered cooperation in sports and vocational training in 2014. The Horizon daily praised Vietnam’s economic development. It quoted a report by the World Bank, which predicted Vietnam’s GDP to be 6% this year and 6.2% next year.
