All five Vietnamese students win medals at International Physics Olympiad
(VOVWORLD) - Five Vietnamese students brought home two gold, two silver, and one bronze medals from the 2023 International Physics Olympiad in Japan, the Ministry of Education and Training said Sunday.

The two gold medals went to 12th grader Nguyen Tuan Phong of Bac Ninh province, and 11th grader Vo Hoang Hai of Hanoi.
The two medals were awarded to 12th grader Nguyen Tuan Duong of Hai Phong City and 12th grader Le Viet Hoang Anh of Thanh Hoa province.
The bronze medal was taken by 12th grader Phan The Manh of Bac Ninh province. Two previous Olympiads were held online because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s Olympiad drew 398 students from 84 countries and territories.
