All Syria’s chemical weapon production lines destroyed
(VOVworld) – The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) announced on Thursday that all Syria’s chemical weapon mixing and production facilities have been destroyed in compliance with its disarmament deadline. Reuters cited an OPCW document saying that its experts had visited 21 out of the 23 declared chemical weapon production sites. The 2 remaining sites were too dangerous to visit but equipment from them had been evacuated to safe locations.

The OPCW document stated that the organization was satisfied that it had verified and witnessed the destruction of all critical production and mixing equipment from all 23 sites.
