All targets for 2018 to be met
(VOVWORLD) - All 12 targets set by the National Assembly for this year are likely to be achieved or surpassed, according to a teleconference on socio-economic development hosted by the Ministry of Planning and Investment on Monday.

A ministry representative said this year’s GDP is forecast to reach 6.7%, credit to grow 17% and inflation to be kept below 4%. Minister Nguyen Chi Dung underlined the need to restructure the economy.
“Economic restructuring is vital for implementing plans for this year and the next 5 years. We need to further improve Vietnam’s infrastructure which is less competitive than that of many other countries,” Mr. Dung noted.
