(VOVworld) – At least 3 people were injured in a shooting which happened on a high-speed train traveling from Amsterdam to Paris on Friday.

Two American servicemen have overpowered a suspected terrorist who opened fire on the train. The injured passengers are in critical condition. The heavily armed attacker was arrested after the train pulled into the station in the northern French town of Arras. Guns and knife were found in the belongings of the attacker. According to initial investigation, the attacker is likely a Marocan at the age of 26 and is supervised by the French Intelligence Agency.
