(VOVworld) - The Red Spring Blood Donation Festival 2015 will be held at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on March 8.

Nguyen Anh Tri, Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, highlighted the drive at a voluntary blood donation festival on Tuesday to kick-start the annual event nationwide. He expressed his hope that the initiative would get a positive response from agencies and individuals and save more lives. Over the past 10 years, many lives have been saved by the 6.4 million units of blood collected from donors.
