(VOVworld) - Vietnamese students wearing “ao dai”, the traditional long dress of Vietnamese women, and travelling on bicycles were one of the highlights of the third “Ao dai” festival that ended Sunday in Ho Chi Minh city. The bike ride began at the Youth Cultural House and passed by a number of cultural and historical sites to promote Ho Chi Minh city tourism and environmental protection.

The two-week festival included a competition of 20 Vietnamese and foreign designers who arranged decorative flowers patterns on “ao dai”. Local women responded to the festival by wearing “ao dai” to work.
