APEC 2017: SOM2 meetings continue

(VOVWORLD) - During the two-day second APEC Senior Officials Meeting (SOM 2) in Hanoi, participants attended meetings on mining, people with disability, policy on women and economics, and automobile industry.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment chaired a meeting on human resource development and a meeting on the Group of Friends on Disability. The Ministry of labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs hosted a meeting of the Groups of Partners on policy on women and development. They focused on the role of women in socio-economic development and policy to generate conditions for women in economic integration.
