APEC Economic Leaders Meeting opens in San Francisco
(VOVWORLD) - The 30th APEC Economic Leaders Meeting opened in San Francisco, the US, on Thursday with the aim of building a more interconnected, innovative, and inclusive APEC.

In his opening remarks, US President Joe Biden said the world stands at an inflection point where the decisions made now will determine the course of the world for the next several decades.
He called on the APEC countries to take strong national actions to address climate change, make real progress, and meet the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
The meeting, the highlight of APEC Leaders Week from Wednesday to Friday was themed "Creating a resilient and sustainable future for all."
