(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Ambassador to Norway Le Thi Tuyet Mai and Ambassadors of other ASEAN nations on the ASEAN Committee in Oslo (ACO) visited Bodo, capital of Norway’s Nordland region, last Tuesday.

Ambassador Mai, who chairs the ACO, underlined cooperation opportunities for businesses engaged in aquaculture, marine technology, information technology, communications, and sustainable energy production.

There is also good potential for exchanges and affiliation between Bodo’s universities, social organizations, and agencies and their ASEAN coutnerparts.

Mai said all ASEAN ambassadors in Norway are ready to facilitate investment and trade between ASEAN and the Nordland region.

Mai took the occasion to review the current partnership between Vietnam and Norway, current investment and business opportunities in Vietnam, and current links between the Nordland region and Vietnamese localities.
