Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) said businesses are no longer banned from doing transactions of more than 20,000 AUD (14,436 USD) with Iranian entities.
However, Canberra said in a statement it would keep in place some non-nuclear bans, including those related to Tehran’s missile program and the transportation of ballistic missiles and some Iranian individuals and organizations.
Earlier this year the US and some countries officially removed sanctions on Iran’s banking, steel, and good transportation to give it opportunities to access the global economy.
