(VOVWORLD) - The Australian government is helping to strengthen trade opportunities with Vietnam through the Enhanced Economic Engagement Grant (AVEG) pilot program.

Australia’s Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Dan Tehan said Australia is providing close to 2 million USD to 28 small projects to create economic opportunities and deepen business cooperation, opening doors for Australian industries ranging from agriculture to education, digital technology to small- and medium-sized supply chains.
Tehan said Australia is working with Vietnam to grow their bilateral trade relationship, with an aim to become top trade partners and double investment. Strengthening their relationship will create jobs and opportunities in both countries, he said.
