(VOVworld) - Australia’s Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull declared victory for his Liberal-National coalition on Sunday.
Speaking to the press, the Prime Minister said leader of the Labor Party Bill Shorten called him on the phone to congratulate him as his reelection as Prime Minister.
Mr. Shorten acknowledged his loss in the election on July 2 and said the Labor Party will work with the government of Prime Minister Turnbull to create a common voice and fulfill parliamentary functions in the national interest.
