(VOVworld) – A seminar on Vietnam’s economic renewal has provided Austrian scholars, researchers, and businesses a chance to better understand a market of 90 million consumers in Vietnam.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Nguyen Thiep highlighted incentives created by the Vietnamese government for foreign investors.

Dr. Thomas Jandl of the US described his research on Vietnam in the global economy. He said Vietnam, a newly emerging economy with a range of advantages, is attracting transnational enterprises.
According to Wener Clement, former adviser to Vietnam’s Central Institute for Economic Management, the decision at the 6th Party Congress to restructure Vietnam’s economy was courageous. Clement added that in addition to sound policy, social stability was a key factor in Vietnam’s economic achievements.
