(VOVworld) - Azerbaijani Ambassador to Vietnam Anar Imanov unveiled the first Vietnamese edition of his nation’s Heritage Magazine at a ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday. The Ambassador dilated on the long-standing historical relations and friendship between Vietnam and Azerbaijan. The foundation for relations between the two countries was laid by the President Ho Chi Minh during his visit to Azerbaijan in 1959 and the Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev's visit to Vietnam in 1983. According to the Heritage Magazine’s Editor in Chief Musa Mardzandi, the non-profit magazine aims to further boost relationships between Azerbaijan and Vietnam, contributing to narrowing the cultural gap between the two peoples.
