(VOVworld)- Politburo member and Standing member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh received in Hanoi on Wednesday a delegation of the New Azerbaijan Party led by its Deputy Executive Secretary Mubarit Gurobanlu. In his address, Mr. Anh said Vietnam treasured ties with traditional friends including Azerbaijan’s people. Anh said he hoped the visit will create a good opportunity for the two Parties and countries to enhance bilateral ties. Mubarit Gurobanlui said the New Azerbaijan Party wanted to boost cooperation with the Communist Party of Vietnam. The same day, the New Azerbaijan Party delegation met with National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu. At talks with Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the External Relations Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam earlier, the two sides agreed to increase exchanges to strengthen the relationship between  the two ruling Parties and to create a firm foundation for bilateral friendship and cooperation. During their visit to Vietnam, the delegation of the New Azerbaijan Party worked with Hanoi municipal leaders, the Vietnam Foreign Ministry, the Youth Union and the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association.
