President Tran Dai Quang holds a working session with Ba Ria Vung Tau province's authorities

Speaking at a meeting with the Provincial Party Committee, President Quang said the province needs to take resolute measures to realize guidelines and policies set out by the Party, National Assembly, and government: "The province needs to better tap its coastal potential and advantages, effectively mobilize and use resources inside and outside the locality to promote the province’s rapid, sustainable growth. It’s necessary to develop the Cai Mep-Thi Vai port into an international transit hub and industrial cluster, in a way that the environment is protected, and land reservations are saved. The province should promote sustainable development and increase cooperation with other cities and provinces.”

The President asked the province to boost tourism, thereby stimulating the local economic sector, through increasing promotional activities and by creating a sound tourist environment.
