Bac Giang, Bac Ninh asked to control COVID-19 spread
(VOVWORLD) - Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces should collect samples for testing in places that have yet to detect any infections and districts that have yet to apply social distancing, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said during an online meeting with leaders of the two provinces on Thursday.

With the pandemic worsening at industrial parks, Bac Ninh province has asked the Ministry of Health for 100,000 rapid test kits and a 500-bed field hospital.
In Bac Giang province, 70,000 people in Viet Yen district are receiving quick tests. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, who also heads the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, said the pandemic is spreading outside of the industrial zones and urged all localities to increase their vigilance to the highest level.
