Belgium pledges to work with Vietnam in coping with climate change
(VOVworld) - Belgian Deputy Prime Minister Johan Vande Lanotte worked with the leaders of Ninh Thuan province to evaluate the progress of Belgian-funded projects on Tuesday.

Mr. Lanotte appreciated the province’s implementation of projects to promote the efficiency of the Belgian government’s funding. He said Vietnam is one of the 10 countries which suffer the biggest impacts from climate change. Belgium is willing to cooperate with the Vietnamese government to manage the handling of natural disasters.
He asked Ninh Thuan to evaluate its advantages to attract foreign investors including Belgian businesses. He pledged to encourage Belgian investors seeking business opportunities in Ninh Thuan province, especially in the field of tourism.
