(VOVworld) - President of the Senate of Belgium, Christine Defraigne, left Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday after her week-long visit to Vietnam. During her stay, Ms. Defraigne had talks with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, met with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.

She also had working sessions with Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh and Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan. Both sides agreed to boost bilateral legislative ties, maintain exchanges of high-level visits, share experiences in all fields, and better oversight the implementation of signed agreements between the two governments. They also pledged to closely cooperate in a number of prioritized areas including logistics, high-tech, green growth, and vocational training.
